Why remove Exif Metadata?
Every time you take a photo with a modern smartphone or digital camera, it embeds hidden information into the image file. This data, known as EXIF (Exchangeable Image File Format), can include your exact GPS coordinates, the date and time the photo was taken, and even the unique serial number of your device.
Sharing these images on social media or via email can unintentionally reveal your home address or daily routines. Our Exif Metadata Cleaner strips away this sensitive data while keeping the visual quality of your image 100% intact.
100% Client-Side Processing
Your images are never uploaded to a server. All metadata extraction and removal happen directly in your browser. This means your private information never leaves your device, providing the ultimate level of security.
Supported Formats
We support cleaning for the most common web image formats, including JPEG, WebP, and TIFF. Our tool is optimized to remove EXIF, IPTC, and XMP metadata categories without re-encoding the image data.
